Vitamin D as good as Prescription drugs to treat Osteopenia /
Osteoporosis.
A recently published study in
the prestigious medical journal, Endorcine Practice issue of Nov/Dec
2011 concluded that Vitamin D was as effective in the treatment of
osteopenia / osteoporosis as the commonly prescribed drugs called
Bisphophonates such as Fosamax ( alensronate) Actonel ( residronate )
and Boniva ( ibandronate ).
